L’Atelier French Carte is an online programme for A2+/B1 learners who want to practise regularly, broaden their range of expression and speak more naturally.

A workshop where you can finally dare to speak
Knowing grammar and vocabulary is not always enough to feel comfortable in a real conversation.
To make progress, you also need opportunities to think, react, explain your point of view and exchange ideas with others in a supportive environment.
Over eight weeks, you will take part in a variety of activities based on current topics and real-life situations.
The aim is not to speak perfectly, but to express yourself more easily, more clearly and with greater confidence.
What makes this workshop different
A genuinely small group
The workshop is limited to 4 to 5 participants. This ensures that everyone has enough time to speak, ask questions and play an active part in the discussions.
Topics that spark conversation
The sessions are based on current, accessible topics that naturally encourage discussion.
Topics may include:

limiting young people’s access to social media;

artificial intelligence in everyday life;

the role of cars in city centres;

buying second-hand items;
-
habits that can improve our quality of life.
These topics are provided as examples and may change depending on current events and the group’s interests.
A short preparation activity before each session
Before each workshop, you will receive a short video with a few questions. This will give you time to discover the topic, prepare your ideas and feel more at ease when the discussion begins.
Active learning
The sessions include guided discussions, role plays and activities inspired by real-life situations. You will learn how to explain an idea, express an opinion, respond to what others say and use effective strategies when you cannot find the words you need.

What the programme includes
Eight live Zoom sessions
One 90-minute session each week, devoted mainly to speaking practice and interaction.
Preparation before each workshop
A short video and a few questions to introduce the topic and help you prepare for the session.
A variety of activities
Guided discussions, role plays, real-life situations and exercises designed to help you express yourself more naturally.
A corrected writing activity
After each session, you will be able to complete a short writing activity and receive personalised corrections.
Online exercises
Self-correcting exercises will help you review and consolidate what you have learned.
Access to session recordings
You will be able to watch the sessions again and review important expressions and explanations at your own pace.
Meet your teacher
My name is Delphine, and I have been teaching French as a foreign language for more than 18 years.
My aim is to create a structured, engaging and supportive environment where every participant feels able to speak without being afraid of making mistakes.
I will help you express your ideas more clearly, enrich your French and develop the skills and strategies you need to communicate more independently.

Introductory session
Monday, September 7, 2026, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. France time, on Zoom
During this session, you will discover how L’Atelier French Carte works and take part in several activities that reflect the programme.
Price: NIS 50 (approx. €14 )
The NIS 50 will be deducted from the programme fee if you subsequently enrol. It will be refunded in full if the group cannot go ahead.
